BC HOME Partnership Loan: Are you ready?

Applications for the B.C. government's Home Owner Mortgage and Equity Partnership program open today, January 16, 2017. If you're an eligible first-time home buyer, do you have your documents in order?

What do you need?

Applications for the loan program will be exclusively online, so you will need to have electronic versions of your documents available. If you're scanning a physical card, make sure that you have a copy of both sides and that your information is clearly visible.

You will need to provide the following for each person who will be registered on title for your home purchase:

  • Proof of status in Canada (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Photo identification
  • Your 2015 Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
  • Your pre-approval letter from a lender for a high-ratio insured (less than 20% down payment) first mortgage

Our team has already contacted many of the lenders we work with to ensure that we can help you get your pre-approval letter as quickly and easily as possible. B.C. Housing will be reviewing the applications in the order they are received, so it's important to make sure you have everything correct and complete when it's uploaded.

If you're just starting your pre-approval process, contact Auxilium Mortgage today for a free consultation with one of our brokers: call Toll-Free 1-855-590-6520 or visit us at 307 Goldstream Avenue during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We can also arrange an appointment evenings or weekends to work with you.
